First Sunday of a new month and the delectable Sophie Little, is back among us, running around the county in her quest to emulate Kirsteens win of last week. Navigator Ian assisted with the clues and steered the car forever onward. David Clayton was back from his Hols and fighting the maps and the technology. Questmaster huffily sat in a corner, after being beaten last week. The Glams Anna Perrott and Hannah Lockier tried to console him. We started in Horsford and got to the treasure at Newton Flotman village fete

Ten weeks and TQ Live will be all over have you got your ticket yet. If not why not. One of the people who will be there is todays runner is another who it seems ages since we heard her dulcet tones is Kirsteen Thorne. She was on a refresher course out and about in the radio car with Navigator Captain Sparrow. Standing in for DC today was Graham Barnard. Questmaster wiled away the hours with a very smug expression on his face, as he is close to making the scores level pegging. He was assisted today by Glams Anna Morton and Jay Lawrence. We started in Walsingham  and got to the treasure at the yard sale in Bacton.

All back to normal this week after the antics of the past few weeks. Sophie little tries her hand at this mornings cavalcade of questing. She was accompanied by Navigator Ian in one of the final days in the old radio car. David Clayton was this mornings studio link with maps and quips in hand. Questmaster returned from his travails of last week, he was ably assisted by Glams Anna Perrott and Hana Lockier. We started in Hempnall and failed to get to the treasure in Stalham at the museum of the broads

Ah well we have to put up with one of the office wallahs yet again ! No the lovely Anna Perrott was our runner today. Having her first solo crack at the title. She was assisted on her travails by navigator Ian back from his work with radio Four. DC pored over the maps as if he knew where he was . Questmistress Hana Lockier used Pauls clues, she sat at her desk and chortled away to herself, having turned the tables on her usual cohort. Glams today were the boy Jay and Anna Morton. We started today at Dersingham. And got to the treasure in Holt Hall with the Jonathan Wyatt Big Band.

Second bite at the cherry for Hana Lockier today, last weeks solo effort was a loss so trying that much harder today. She was accompanied by Navigator Keith Greentree in the drivers seat. David Clayton was egging her on from the studio chair. Questmaster was trying his hardest to defeat his cohort, with feindish clues and long distances. He was assisted by Glams Mrs Anna Perrott and Anna Morton We started in Great Yarmouth and failed to get to the treasure at Marsham Starting handle club.

This week we see a new face, on her own, out and about Hana Lockier or Hyperactive Hana as the Questmaster deigns to call her. She was running after the clues having only been out once before with Anna Perrott (who got married yesterday by the way). Anyway Hana was out with Navigator Ian in the soon to be pensioned off Radio car. David was as usual in the studio and Questmaster was flitting. He was ably assisted by Glam Anna Morton. We started in Pudding Norton and failed to get to clue fours location in Suffield

With a very wet Sunday a well wrapped up Sophie Little was clue hunting this morning. Navigator Wally Webb was alongside in the Radio car. David Clayton was desk bound as usual and the maps were fighting back. Questmaster had he clues set and delivered. He was assisted by glams Hana Lockier and Anna Morton answering the phones. We started in Mautby and failed  get to clue five

With rain forecast for this morning early it was a soggy start for Kirsteen Thorne tthis morning on her turn in the radio car alongside Navigator Ian. The new car still not rady for the trials the TQ brings. David was in the studio as usual rustling the maps. Questmaster sat back and watched his plotted failure transpire.  Today's Glam was Anna Perrott, fresh from her second Hen Party. We started in Oxnead and got to the treasure at Kings Lynn at the Lynn museum.

After her trials and tribulations in the mud of Glastonbury. Sophie rejoins the team this week searching out the clues along the leafy un signposted lanes of Glorious Norfolk. Alongside her in the almost defunct Radio Car was Captain Tim Sparrow, struggling to keep the old technology working. For those who haven't heard they took delivery on Thursday of the new all singing all dancing digital Radio Van. David was keeping quiet as I don't think he understands the techology. one person well up on the tech was the Questmaster, question setter extaordinnaire, he was assisted in his ploy to win again, by Glams Anna Perrott and Hana Lockier. We started in Ketteringham and got to the treasure in.

After a dismal loss two weeks ago Kirsteen returns. With Navigator Ian this time in the radio car. We had a twist in the tale today as David is still on holiday and no stand in available Questmaster donned his presenters hat and became his alter ego of Paul Hayes for the morning. But this left a vacancy, step up Anna Perrott as Questmistress aided and abbetted by her usual workmates Hana Lockyer and Anna Morton  . With one week to go until the big weekend one of it's stalwarts joins us today for quest 20 of the year. Sophie Little straight from the hectic week at the Radio 1 Academy, was out and about with Navigator Ian. DC was ebulient after Norwich's win yesterday. Questmaster couldn't be bothered if it wasn't Brighton he didn't care. Also from academy duties were Glams Anna Perrott and Hana Lockier. We started in Beetley and got to the treasure in the Bishops Garden in the Granary in the town centre

With a very sucessful two parter, under their belts from last week and the two runners together format working so well. They thought they would do part of it again, So this week we proudly presented. Usually the suspects from the desks, the cheery voices at the end of the phones. Anna Perrott and and her co conspirator Hana Lockier, took to the radio car alongside Navigator Ian, for a trundle around the unsignposted lanes of Norfolk. David tried to keep order and failed miserably. Questmaster is now possibly bald and Navigator Ian is a gibbering wreck.Only one Glam today Dean Tucker was in the hot seat. We started in Wood Dalling and failed to get to the treasure at Anna Perrott's Home in Tunstead.

With a break for a year the May day two parter is back as a eleven parter . Betting was rife on the runners and riders before the event, it turned out to be Kirsteen and Sophie out and about with navigator Ian. DC was in the studio. Questmaster relaxed a bit knowing his clues were in place. Glams were Anna Perrott and Hana Lockier . We started day one in Middleton and finished in Fretenham and the overnight clue was a dastardly hard audio clue. Day two dawned in Fretenham at the village hall Glams for Monday were Anna Perrott and Dean. and the treasure was at Caister Lifeboat Station  where Kirsteen had to get Geared up to take the lifeboat out to a bouy

The Questmaster made it a draw as the boat was in the water as the countdown got to the end

With one week to go to The Bank Holiday Weekend Two Parter. Anyway back to today and Kirsteen Thorne was back in the runners shoes for her marathon alongside Captain Sparrow. David couldn't find the energy to run anywhere apart from his fingers over his maps. Questmaster has been busy and has all the clues inplace for today and next week Glam Hana Lockier assisted with duties behind the glass. We started in Syderstone and got to the treasure at Ryston at the Ketts Oak in the grounds of Ryston Hall.

After last weeks squeaky finish Sophie Little joined us as runner this AM. Ian occupied the drivers seat in the jalopy that has become the radio car. David Clayton had his maps unfolded and Questmaster chuckled slowly to himself in a corner, fed the occasional cofffee, by his Glams Anna Perrott and Hana Lockier. We started proceedings at and got to the treasure in

This week saw Kirsteen Thorne back after her extra weekend off while Sophie adjusts for The Big Weekend. Navigator Ian twiddled and pulled levers alongside the driving duties. David was in the studio also twiddling knobs but pushing faders. Questmaster flitted about assisted by Glams Anna Perrott and Hana Lockier. We started in Colkirk and got to the treasure at Thornham

Two announcements this week as Sophie takes charge twice in a row to counter her norfolk Big Weekend duties . We also heard from QM that the two parter is coming back in May bank holiday

Anyway Navigator Ian hosted Sophie in the radio car. David Clayton wondered what was going on.Questmaster knew exactly what was going on and Glams Anna Perrott and Hana Lockier tried to fend of the people who also knew, where to go. We started in Happisburgh and failed to get to the treasure in North Creake at the antiques fair.

Another anniversary this week report number 156. I have now been doing these for 3 years. All that time and no lie in on a Sunday morning. No lie in for Sophie Little this morning and also Navigator Ian. They were the intrepids this morning Hunting the clues. David Clayton was isssuing tickets from his Setrite machine given to him last week. Questmaster was fresh from penning more  Scarrowbeck the novel. (if you haven't read any of it I would head over to the Facebook page BBC norfolk treasure quest and have a search for the docx files) Glam on duty this morning was Hana Lockier We started in Arminghall and failed to get to the treasure at Burrfield at Tasburgh

Hot foot from the forum twice in two days comes the firewalker extraordinnaire the lady who raised over £650 for the Big C , the lady who liked it so much she did it twice, Kirsteen Thorne was chasing todays Six clues. Navigator Ian pointed the car in a general direction. Questmaster gave up writing Scarrowbeck for long enough to write the clues and produce this assisted by Glams Anna Perrot and Jay Lawrence. We started in Wighton and got to the treasure in Norwich at the Bus day where David Clayton was presented with an old Bus Ticket Machine

Well Comic relief passed the Billion pound mark on friday and with us today is one in a billion. Yes Sophie Little is in the radio car with Navigator Ian pointing the radio car in the right direction. David Clayton had deigned to join us this morning to give us some of his witticisms. Questmaster was chuckling away to himself in the corner ably assisted on the phones by Glams Anna Perrott and Hana Lockier. We started at The Beeston Bump and failed to get to the treasure at Aylsham High School

Double figures already this year. Not long now until Kirsteen Thorne todays runner does her fire walk for charity. But before that she needs her feet to nimbly track down an unusual four clues this morning. She was out and about on the lanes of the county with Navigator ian . David was in the studio being plied with hot coffee regularly. Questmaster was ably assisted by Glams Anna Perrott and Hana Lockier. We started in Tacolneston and failed to get to the treasure at County hall in Norwich clue would have been on the gate guard Jaguar from RAF Coltishall

The ides of march are upon us so anyone called Ceasar beware. Fresh from Fridays introducing day is todays runner Sophie Little, alongside Navigator Ian trundling along in the radio car. David Clayton struggled with the maps and the faders .Questmaster fresh from a trip away to deepest Berkshire, was chuckling to himself behind the glass, Glam Anna Perrott assisted on the phones . We started in Hackford and got to the treasure in Gunton Saw Mill

Quote of the Morning Navigator Ian, on seeing the rams      " I'm leaving I feel inadequate "

Last quest for February today. Next one will be in March, doesn't time fly. Kirsteen Thorne this weeks birthday girl ( no we are not spilling the beans on her age) was todays runner sat alongside Navigator Ian for todays trek around Norfolk. David Clayton was trying to calm down after the TV fest of Quo . Questmaster had the clues in place and was ably assisted by Glam Hana (Introducing) Lockyer. We started in Felthorpe and got to the treasure in Saham Toney at an amateur radio hunt using direction finders and The guides thinking day.on The Baden Powells birthday

Another cold and damp winter morning was brightened by todays runner Sophie Little fresh from her late night at Introducing. She was out on the slippery roads of Norfolk with Navigator Ian. David Clayton struggled not to let his coffee go cold. Questmaster chortled his way through the programme like a Conan-Doyle character. He was attended to by Glams Anna Perrott and Hana Lockyer. We started in Little Dunham and got to the treasure at Brinton Church.

It's ages since we heard the dulcet tones of Ms Kirsteen Thorne, Birthday parties and the like being the excuse but I think it was the  cold that was the trouble. Anyway today saw her trying for her first win of the new year alongside Navigator Ian. David Clayton shuffled the maps in the studio. Questmaster was in his cubby hole chortling to himself. Glams Anna Perrot and Hana Lockyer answered the phones. We started in West Caister and got to the treasure at the Forum in Norwich at the Young Enterprise fair.

Two wins and a loss so far this month, will Thordis be able to keep the winning ways going, as she stands in for Kirsteen this week. She was out in the radio car this week alongside Navigator Ian. David Clayton was back in the warmth of the studio. Questmaster had all the clues set and Glams Anna Perrot and Hana Lockier on hand to assist. We started in Mileham and failed to get to the treasure in Hoveton at the Bosworth battle reenactment

So Winter broke in Norfolk this week will there be a Quest we all had to ask ourselves will the radio car start after last weeks antics. The answer was No so, Sophie was today's Guinea Pig to try out the Land Rover, she was out with Navigator Ian. David Clayton fought his way into the studio from the producers room. Questmaster walked to work as usual And Glams Anna Perrot and Hana Lockier made in too. We started in East Barsham and got to the treasure at Burnham Deepdale

All is back to normal this week we had the usual crew involved after all the Christmas and new year abscenses. Kirsteen was back in full flight on her first of 2015 alongside Navigator Ian. Mr Clayton was back from the wily windy moors and was lost without his sat nav. Questmaster was over having to relinquish his reigns on the programme and Glam Anna Perrot knew her place. We started in Hindolveston and failed to get to the treasure in Blakeney

A Gross weekend for me 144 reports under my belt. Also FA cup weekend and the first Quest of 2015, counter reset for the year .And we are ready for the trials and tribulations.Sophie was in the hot seat today with Navigator Ian. David has had to go for a lie down in a darkened room, So today Graham Barnard took up the reigns once more. Questmaster was back from his own quest away for Christmas Sussex was the rumour. Glams Anna Perott (demoted from last week) and Hana Lockier answered the calls. We started in Mulbarton and got to the treasure in Eaton Park at the new crazy golf

The last quest of this year finds us in the company of Kirsteen Thorne and Navigator Ian out on the chilly lanes of outer Norfolk. David Clayton had struggled in via Sainsburys. The suprise of the morning was a Questmistress Anna Perrot standing in for Paul who was taking Christmas off. Glams Hana Lockier and farmed the many calls . We started at Norwich Cathedral and got to the treasure in

With Christmas approaching fast we stopped for a bit of hilarity with the TQ crew. Sophie Little had struggled back, from that big village by a river down south, to be with navigator Ian. David was in the warm again shuffling paperwork (Which I have been told is also his day job). Questmaster was full of the festering spirit so gave no quarter whatsoever. the Glams Anna Perrot and Hana Lockier were in good spirits (possibly from the night before knowing Hana). We commenced proceedings in Rougham and got to the treasure in The farmers market in North Walsham  on the Panther brewery stall.

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Programme number 350 and down to the last three quests of this year as today is number 50 of 52 . Todays hamster in the treadmill is Kirsteen Thorne alongside Navigator Ian out and about in the radio car. David Clayton was back from his enforced incarceration at home looking after Mrs Clayton and coughed and spluttered through the programme. Questmaster had most of the clues in place and was assisted by Glams Anna Perrot and Hana Lockier. We started in Rollesby and failed to get to the treasure at Hunters Hall in Swanton Morley

A wet start to this wintry quest Found Sophie Little wrapped up warm and craving a warm studio . But all she had was a radio car and Navigator Ian for company Around the non signposted lanes of Norfolk. Graham Barnard stood in today and got the warm studio to keep his maps dry. Questmaster revelled in Sophie's inability to get a win and devised even more fiendish clues. Glams Anna Perott and The boy J officiated at the phones. We started in Hingham and got to the treasure at Topcroft

This one and four more will mark the end of the year, where does time go this time last year Questmaster had his holiday and Lucy Bowers stood in as QM. Well this week it's Kirsteen's turn to run after the Questmasters whims alongside Navigator Ian. David Clayton rustled the maps to make us think he knew what was going on. Aforesaid Questmaster was in residence alongside Glam Hana Lockier, we started proceedings in Barroway Drove and got to the treasure at Thornham village hall winter fair

One Month and a bit to the big C word. Still soon be spring, someone with a spring in her sealegs this morning was Sophie Little our new regular runner every other Sunday she was out with Navigator Ian in tow. David had stopped ogling busses for long enough to concentrate on his self folding maps. Questmaster had all of his clues in place and at 09:15 battle commenced. Glams Anna Perott and Hannah Lockyer Manned the phones and facebook .We started in Northwold and failed to get to the treasure at Norwich Silver hill community centre

David Clayton MC DJ and propping up the bar, map read like a blind man. The aforementioned Questmaster was on form, now that his play was about to be produced upon the stage (The one wot he writ). Tickets still available (Where's me freebie for the plug.) this one stars two Glam Anna Perott behind the phones . We started in Burgh Castle and got to the treasure by fair means or foul at Hethersett village hall Atmosphere art exhibition.

Clocks duly gone back all here on time. At least the part we are interested in will be lighter. Jo Thewlis jumps into the runners shoes this morning as Julie is away.Navigator Ian finished the complement out on the road. Today is also the last quest as a Glam for Ellie or Eleanor Morgan Cunningham, although she makes an appearance at TQ live. And her last production on Extra Time today. Ellie has been working on the show since  20th of November 2011. So one week over three years and we shall all be sorry to not hear her dulcet tones on the phones, today she was assisted by Hyperactive Hannah . DC held his end of the map reading and Questmaster was hoping for another loss

We started this weeks this weeks foray into deepest lightest Norfolk in Shipdham and got to the treasure at Thursford

Seems strange this morning writing the number 42 at the foot of this report. Reminds me that there are only including this one, 11 Sundays until a new year is upon us. Where does the time go,three weeks and I will be on my way home, after a weekend back in the old stomping grounds of Norfolk. And having met lots of fellow avid TQ followers.

Back to today Kirsteen was back for a go at another win to her tally. Navigator Ian tries for lots more miles on the log of the radio car. David Clayton joins us if he can put down his bus magazine for long enough. Questmaster was joined by Glam Eleanor Morgan Cunningham and her sidekick Anna Perott. We started in Fincham and failed to get to the treasure in Tasburgh

Four weeks and TQ Live will be all but a memory. But that is in the future, today saw Chrissie Jackson filling in for Jules. Navigator Ian had the pleasure of her company in the radio car. David Clayton tore himself away from bus spotting long enough to concentrate on proceedings. Questmaster also had to tear himself away from the script for TQ live to produce the show and assistants or Glams as we know them Eleanor Morgan Cunningham and Anna Perrott manned the phones. We commenced the proceedings at Hillington and raced around to finish at

Holiday season is over and Autumn is with us this morning, the leaves are starting to turn their golden colours and the nights getting colder. And we had an unusual Four clue morning. Kirsteen Thorne joined us this morning for a trip around the Questmasters world. She was joined by Navigator Ian in the radio car. DC fought maps and phones and lost the battle. Questmaster had the clues in place and a show to produce with the ample assistance of Glams Eleanor Morgan Cunningham and Anna Perrott. The foray started in Heathersett and got to the treasure at The Community Centre in Acle

A third of the year already gone and Kirsteen's on a late holiday, so today Chrissie Jackson sits in, as guest runner alongside Navigator Ian who is back from other duties and holiday. David Clayton may be able to get a word in edgeways this week and maybe his map reading efforts will not be needed. Questmaster has the clues placed and was ready with the rules and regs, ably assisted by Glam Eleanor Morgan Cunningham. We started in Surlingham and got to the treasure at RAF Coltishall car show in a Bentley.

It has taken over six years in the making. But Radio Norfolk finally releases its own version of Thelma and Louise at an epic two hours and forty minutes, will they be able to stay away from the law(Stop There Now (Ed)) oops sorry got carried away in all the excitement . We do have an all female crew in the radio car though. Sophie Little takes on the mighty Peugeot, whilst Julie Reinger hunts the clues. David Clayton is outnumbered, along with the Questmaster are the only males around as both Glams today are also female in the guise of Eleanor Morgan Cunningham and Anna Perrott . We started in Necton and failed to get to the treasure at the Edwardian weekend at the rectory in Great Melton

Cannot believe that we are nearly three quarters of the way through this year 37th quest of the year today. We have who is becoming a regular stand in this week Jo Thewlis was back with us for another try alongside Navigator Keith Greentree. DC faffed and fluffed his way around the maps. Whilst the Questmaster and Glams Eleanor Morgan Cunningham and  Jay proceeded to try and send us in the opposite direction. We started in East Ruston and got to the treasure at.Kimblewick Equestrian centre funday North Tuddenham.
