We welcome back one of our holidaying runners this week ( she has been to the sunnier climes(of Kent)). Welcome back Kirsteen Thorne .Navigator Ian was on other duties so Keith Greentree stepped into his shoes. Questmaster having set the clues produced the programme aided and abetted by Glams . David wrestled with the answers and the maps. We started in and got to the treasure at Outwell church Flower Festival.

 

 

Another stand in this week,after Sophie Little's antics last week,we have the return of Thordiss Fredricksson back for another shot at the treasure, she is out and about with Navigator Ian. Questmaster is running back and forth and has help in the form of the Glams, Eleanor Morgan-Cunningham and Big Band Anna . David Clayton hedged his bets again in the studio. We started in Crownthorpe and got to the treasure at The Fayre on the Yare at Claxton Manor

 

 

Two thirds the way through the year and on a winning streak .This week we had a guest runner in the guise of Traffic Girl Sophie Little ( so she should know all the bottlenecks and be able to help David with his map reading ) and also a stand in driver Captain Tim Sparrow. David had his usual headless chicken routine in the studio. Sherlock Questmaster Holmes set the clues and was assisted by Glams Lucy the rugby player and Big Band Anna. We started in Hemblington and got to the treasure at Sea Palling Raft race Sophie had to board a rib out to sea

 

 

With The start of the Premier League Should we be in the top league as we have Played 33 ,won 24 lost 9. Julie was our Forward this morning alongside Navigator Ian. Questmaster was in hios usual ebuliant self, assisted by Glams Big Band Anna and Lady Harriett Howard. DC was faffing as usual. We started at Westfield and got to the treasure at The Forum inside K9

 

 

 

 

 

With Julies win with ten seconds to spare last week, we had to ask Kirsteen to get the treasure a bit quicker, as it is not doing the old ticker much good. She was hunting the clues with Navigator Ian David was ensconsed in the studio along with his trusty maps. Questmaster ran the show from the front office along with Glams Eleanor Morgan Cunningham and Big Band Anna. We started in Ridlington and got to the treasure at Caister National Coast Watch Station

 

 

It must be late in the year expect the leaves to start turning, as the football season has got under way. Oh no I'm going back some years when it started in September. This weeks Quest saw Julie Reinger out and about with Navigator Ian back from his foreign travels (well past Watford anyway). David manned the maps. Questmaster and his trusty minions Glams Eleanor Morgan Cunningham and Big band Anna  answered the calls. We started in Boughton and got the treasure at the Wayland Country show

 

 

 

Well the Summer weather is holding out for our quests and hopefully for Lauren and Ben on their bike marathon, last heard of South of Rotterdam heading along the coast to Belgium. This week we had the pleasure of Kirsteens presence in the radio car along with Captain Tim Sparrow, with a passenger,trafffic girl Sophie Little who will be stepping in next month, getting some tips from Kirsteen. David Clayton as usual was hindering proceedings with his map reading. Questmaster had set the clues and was helped in his obsfuscation by Glams Eleanor Morgan Cunningham and Big Band Anna . We started in Great Dunham and got to the treasure in Hellesdon at the 1st Beeston Brownies

 

 

 

With our number one Glam Lauren off on her travails tomorrow, who will now get the post she has vacated. Meanwhile This week on a four clue day we had the pleasure of Julie Reinger's company, in the hot seat out running after the clues, with Navigator Ian. David was faffing and map reading in his own inimitable way. Questmaster was behind the glass with Glams Lucy the rugby player and we welcomed back Eleanor Morgan-Cunningham in support. We started in Lessingham and got to the treasure in

 

 

 

 

On the weekend of the Queens Coronation garden party, we got overlooked for an invitation again, so we thought we would have another Norfolk Treasure Quest, as our own celebration instead. Kirsteen Thorne was our clue finder this week and we welcomed after what seems an eternity Navigator Ian. David Clayton was his usual wittering self in the studio muttering about his map. Questmaster kept things in check and ably assisted by Glams The Lauren of York and Lucy the Rugby player . We started in Kirstead And failed to get to the treasure at Coltishall airfield

 

 

The weather held out for Wimbledon and we had a glorious morning for a quest with temperature of 25 degrees Julie Reinger was enjoying the sun out in the radio car with Captain Tim Sparrow . David was stuck inside the air conditioned confines of the studio and next door was the  Questmaster and assistants the Glams The Lauren Of York and Lucy the rugby player . We started in Stanhoe and got to the treasure at Downham Market mini olympics where Jules had to try the shot putt.

 

 

 

 

Half way point of the year, 26 Weekends (extra quest on Bank holiday Monday) and odds of 9 to 4 . Kirsteen was back in the runners shoes this week along with Captain Sparrow. DC was as usual hedging his bets on where we should go. Questmaster thought he was on a roll with the recent defeats and was helped along by the Glams Lauren of York and Lucy the rugby player . We started in Heacham and got to the treasure at Royal Cromer Golf Club where Kirsteen had to tee off.

 

 

 

 

Must have been the start of Wimbeldon this week gales and rain showers for this weekend . But our own ray of sunshine was with us today with Julie Reinger taking her turn to run for the clues she was with Captain Tim Sparrow in the radio car . David was in the studio twiddling the knobs and faders . Questmaster was producing and the setter of the clues and his assistants or Glams, Lauren of York and a new Glam Big Band Anna  . We started in Shotesham and failed to get to the treasure in Sporle

 

 

 

Well we all got overlooked in the Queen's Birthday Honours list but David is holding our new trophy. So today was a chance to get an award if only by proxy and for a few seconds ,with Kirsteen Thorne chasing the clues today along with Navigator Tim Sparrow charging the trusy steed that is the radio car . David Clayton was back in the studio .Questmaster was ably assisted by Glams The lauren of York and Lucy the rugby player, we started in Sco Ruston and got to the treasure in Oxborough at an exhibition of film costumes

 

 

 

 

 

At the end of the Isle of Man TT week, we are sorry to inform readers that one of our Facebook members was amongst the eleven injured in the crash at Bray Hill on Friday. Judith Clapton had both bones on her lower right leg broken and an index finger We wish her a speedy recovery as she is currently in Nobles Hospital on the island

Today was the 60th anniversary of the Queens coronation .So we thought another quest was a good way of celebrating the occasion. Kirsteen Thorne had today's place in the runners shoes along with Ian in the radio car.David Clayton fielded the clues and the maps. Questmaster ran the show from the front office assisted by Glams The Lauren of York and Lightning Liv .We started in California and got to the treasure at Burlingham Green open gardens

 

 

 

 

 

An extra special May bank holiday special with a 10 0 Clock start for our delight this morning ,with Julie Reinger doing the honours as runner with Navigator Ian helping along the way. David Clayton was also on a double shift .Along with the Questmaster and his Glams Lady Harriett Howard and Lightning Liv Olivia Kingsley . We started in Walpole St Peter and got to the treasure in Swaffham Community Centre

 

 

 

With rumours flying around Facebook and twitter that Becky Betts was down South for the weekend and that she would be our runner this Sunday all was revealed at just gone Nine when the dulcet tones of Becky came across the airwaves. She was out and about with Navigator Ian . David is in the studio.Questmaster has set and posted the clues and is ably helped by Glams Lucy the rugby player and Olivia Kingsley or Lightning Liv as she is known . We started in Kirby Bedon and failed to get to the treasure at Aylsham town hall

 

 

 

Local premiership football safe for next season. But we don't have to worry we have our own premier team on Treasure Quest. This week it was Kirsteen's turn at runner being driven around Norfolk by Navigator Ian . David was with us in the studio, Questmaster ( or should that be the great Svengali after last weeks predictions came true,( Norwich to win 4_0)) has set the clues and is running back and forth explaining the clues and is helped by Glams The Lauren of York and Lucy Bowers the rugby player . We started in Besthorpe and got to the treasure at Swannington Manor open Gardens

 

 

Big week in the football with FA cup, Premiership and Championship deciders . Also a big weekend here our 260th quest reared its ugly head . Taking on the clues this week were Julie and Ian out and about ,David in the studio debating the clues .Questmaster was in the outer office assisted by Glams Lauren of York and Lucy the rugby player . May bank holiday weekend is upon us and the weather is warming . We welcomed Kirsteen back this week to run across the county with Navigator Ian. David Clayton was back fighting the control desk and the maps. Questmaster was back in his comfort zone and is ably assisted by Glams Lauren of York and Lucy the rugby player. We started in Howe and got to the treasure at Great Hockham horn fair where Kirsteen had to dosh (Head butt) the Rams head

 

 

 

 

We had a very strange week this week. Julie Reinger and Ian were the norm , but the rest of the crew had a swop round . David Clayton was off this week. So The Questmaster was in the big chair, Lauren Tyson was today's Questmistress and she was helped by Glams, Lucy the rugby player and Olivia .We started at Caister road Great Yarmouth and got to the treasure at  Strumpshaw Riding schools Gymkhana in Cantley

 

 

 

 

With good weather to give us a boost, we welcomed back Kirsteen today, along with Ian from his vinyl countdown duties. David is in the studio. The Questmaster is assisted by Glam Lauren of York. We started in Hilborough and managed to clinch the treasure at Castle Acre at the sports roadshow where she had to have a go at fishing with a pole.

 

 

 

 

Our new regime is up and running but this week both of our runners are otherwise occupied. So we welcome back another favourite,every ones gardening Thunder Fairy, Thordis Fridriksson, she is out and about with Captain Sparrow. David Clayton returns after his weekend off and is in charge of the maps. Questmaster has set the clues and is ably assisted by Glams The Lauren of York and Lucy the rugby player .We started in Docking and failed to get to the treasure at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital radio marathon.

 

 

The start of a new era with our new runners in place on this four clue morning.this weeks companion for Ian is Kirsteen Thorne . David Clayton is off this morning having a rest, so David Whiteley is manning the studio, the Questmaster is back refreshed after a few days off and is assisted by Glams Lauren of York and Lucy the rugby player. We started in Gunthorpe and finished at Nicholas Hammond Academy in Swaffham at their indoor boot fair A Win

 

 

 

Well the weekend that most people dreaded. The easter two Parter or after five years of doing this it's Becky Betts last official Quest as runner. And did she go out with a bang, with an unprecedented 13 Clues, over two days and including an overnight clue to solve. She was out on the road with her old pal Navigator Ian hunting the locations that the Questmaster had set .He was assisted by Glams Lauren of York and Lucy the rugby player . David still trying to get Becky to understand his jokes is in the studio. We started this epic in Burgh Castle .Over nighted at the Forum in Norwich And the finale was at Fishermans Green Cafe in Overstrand where Becky had to dig for the treasure. Which was two albums of cards sent by listeners

 

 

 

Becky is off today having a final get together with the family before she heads North after next weeks Easter Two Parter. So one of her replacements jumps into the wellie boots to cover. Julie Reinger is on duty. Ian is having a rest this week, so Captain Sparrow is in the driving seat. David is map juggling in the studio ,Questmaster manning the control desk and flitting between control and studio is assisted by Glams Lauren of York Lucy the rugby player.We started in Great Ryburgh and got to the treasure at West Dereham Village hall Where the tracery and glass from an old window was installed

 

 

 

On what should have been Becky's last quest before the Easter two parter. Reports came on Saturday that Becky is not well with flu and is being nursed by her Mum and Dad. So Ian Forster (navigator Ian) has stepped into the hot seat, well he has had five years as understudy and is out with Captain Sparrow as driver ,David is in the studio. Questmaster has set the clues and is assisted by Glams Lucy the Rugby player and the return of Eleanor Morgan Cunningham. We started in Beeston St Andrew and got to the treasure at The Fox and Hounds at Great Moulton . The holders of the Treasure were Kirsteen Thorne and Julie Reinger who as a job share are to be the new runners when Becky leaves

 

 

With only Four quests until Beckys last She has taken the day off . So super sub Kirsteen Thorne steps in this chilly morning with Tim Sparrow in the car . David is snug and warm in the studio, Questmaster twiddles the knobs in the control room and Glams Lauren of York and Lucy the rugby player are assisting with the phones .We started in Hingham and failed get to the treasure at the Sue Ryder shop at Fakenham.

 

 

 

Only Two weeks to Spring so can we keep the spring in our steps and go for another win on this 250th Quest. Becky and Ian are here to help in the radio car . David's faffing in the studio and the Questmaster is assisted by Glams lauren of York and Lucy. We started in Burnham Market and Found the Treasure at Wisbeach Old Magistrates Court and met the people who want to turn the courts into a film set

 

 

 

 

We have the pleasure of Becky's company for only another six quests so we are making the most of her whilst she is here. She is out with Ian in the radio car,while David is in the studio fighting the control panel. The Questmaster is ably assisted by Glam Lauren of York .We started in Little Snoring and finished in Happisburgh at the Hill House pub where we gained the treasure

 

 

 

It,s a foggy start this Four clue morning;But.The whole crew is back together again after last weeks stand in's Quest.  The Questmaster is back from his break and is assisted by Glams Lauren of York and Lucy . David mans the studio, Becky is back in the radio car with Ian as navigator. We started in Lenwade and we got the treasure at Swaffham Farmers market on the Oak Farm stall

 

 

 

With possible rain,sleet and snow forecast this weekend it could be a slippery one today .Plus we have a Triple substitute Sunday. The Questmaster is away so Lauren Tyson steps into his proverbial shoes and she is assisted by Rob Sykes and Lucy . Becky Betts is also not on duty and driver Tim Sparrow is driving around our best stand in in the guise of Kirsteen Thorne this week , David is the only constant as anchorman  . We started in Wymondham and we should have finished the mornings antics in Cringleford But failed

 

 

 

Into February already .With a showery morning Becky and Ian were chasing the clues this morning .The Questmaster ultimate Sunday before his weekend off is assisted by Glams Lauren of York and Lady Harriet Howard . David is in the studio fighting the maps .We started in Lound and failed to finish not getting to clue four

 

 

 

 

A cloudy,wet but warmer morning for this Sundays outing into the wilds of Norfolk. Becky and Ian are the only ones out in the weather .David Is in the studio ,the Questmaster and Glams Lauren of York and Lucy are behind the glass. We started the trek at Bunwell and finished at Chedgrave Village sign .A win this week

 

 

 

 

Bad weather hit the region this week .Main roads were pretty clear but side roads were treacherous but after a lot of debate Navigator Ian gave the go ahead for a (what David called a leisurely) four clue Quest. so Becky and Ian are out and about in the Land Rover ,Davids in the studio .Questmaster is helped by Glams Lauren of York and Lucy . We started in Lakenham and failed to get to the last Clue and treasure which was at Ringland Swan

With wintry conditions forecast for this morning, would we have to battle with the elements as well as the Questmaster. Becky and Ian were wrapped up well and fighting the cold out in the radio car . David was snuggly ensconsed in the studio with constant supplies of hot soup. the Questmaster and Glam Lauren Tyson had battled the streets to be there. We started in North Runcton  and finished the morning at the Wedding show at the Corn Exchange in Kings Lynn

 

 

 

 

 With no new signing in the transfer window,on this four clue Sunday. Becky is with Ian this morning and David is in the studio . The Questmaster is happily back from the Brighton FA cup win, he is helped this morning by Glam Lady Harriett Howard. We started in the private village of Heydon and finished in Newton Flotman at Relish restaurant and the statue of Old John

 

 

 

 

The last Quest of 2012 sees a four clue morning. Becky is back from her rest and is out and about with Ian .David Clayton's chair is filled by Graham Barnard this morning as David is on a well earned break. The Questmaster graces us with his presence once again assisted by Glam Lucy who stepped in at the last minute .We started in Wacton  and finished in Withersdale Street, with Stewart Orr the ex Radio Norfolk at his sound service studio. Becky finished off with a goodbye to Alexajain Wills Bradfield who is off to pastures new with BBC Television

Our favourite stand in in the form of Kirsteen Thorne is out and about with Ian in the radio car chasing the clues . David Whiteley is welcolmed back in for DC . We Started in Bowthorpe and finished at St Helens church in Ranworth where she had to climb the tower and use clue six to open the combination lock on the box

Well the count down to the end of another TQ year and including this mornings effort there are only five quests left.Becky's back this week along with Ian out in the cold,David holding the fort in the studio and the Questmaster is assisted by Glams lauren of York and Lady Harriett Howard. We started in Roughton. We failed to get the treasure at Winterton on sea Christmas fair on a magic tree

 

 

 

 

One month to Christmas day and Becky's gone off doing her Christmas shopping .So we have Kirsteen Thorne standing in this week ,Ian is back from the triathlon driving duties .David is on map duties, and the Questmaster returns from his jolly to the south coast.He is assisted by the Glam Rob Sykes.

On a very blustery Sunday morning for safety reasons they had to take it slow so only four clues and in the land rover . We started in Catfield and finished at Colney at the burial ground which has woodland walks in aid of National Tree Week.    

 

 

 

Subs week this week Keith Greentree sits in for Ian (who was driving the support bus for Nick Conrad on his charity triathlon) in the driving seat, along with Becky on the road . David is in the hot seat as usual, the Questmaster takes a sabbatical,the first time he has been absent in some way since the pilot show. So this morning we have a Questmisstress in the form of Lauren Tyson, she is assisted by Glams Lady Harriett Howard and Rob Sykes. We started in Cromer. We finished at the Nelson Pub in Burnham Market where the treasure was on a painting of the Victory.

 

 

 

 

Will they be fit for purpose, can they do what it says on the tin. After yesterdays antics at TQ Live at the Playhouse will any of the crew be well enough to survive three hours of questing

The usual crew turned in this morning Becky and Ian fighting the elements out on the road ,David wearily poring over the maps ,Questmaster breathing a sigh of relief that another stage show is over, ably assisted by another part of yesterdays cast, the Galms Lauren of York and Lady Harriet Howard.We started at Taverham ,there was a break for the Rememberance Sunday parade and silence. and carried on and finished at Saffire Handmade Chocolate in the nursery centre in Taverham.

 

 

 

6 Days to go to Treasure Quest Live and Bonfire Night tomorrow the excitement builds and no damp squib for us today. Becky's Back this week along with Ian in the car .David is battling with the maps. Questmaster has Glams Alexajain Wills-Bradfield and Lady Harriet Howard in assistance. We started at Baconsthorpe. And rocketed to the treasure at Ashill Village aids Craft Fair Becky had to make a greetings card

 

 

 

Halloween weekend is upon us again will the clues be Ghoulish. All we Know is that we have someone Ghosting for Becky this week in the guise of Kirsteen Thorne,out and about with Ian. David in the studio and the Questmaster helped out by the Glams Rob Sykes and Lucy Bowers .We started in Necton and got the treasure at Bawburgh by Jeremiah Colmans original mustard mill.

 

 

 

 

Only 20 days to go until the lucky ones get to see Treasure Quest live . But before then we have a Quest to win the stars of the show are here again .Becky star of the CD along with Ian in the radio car.David manning the maps .Paul along with Glam Lady Harriet Howard, Answering the phones .We started in Dersingham and wound up at Lynnsport Miniature Railway but Failed by Minutes

 

 

 

On the week that the TQ CD was released, many people have been reminiscing over the very funny tracks compiled and edited By Paul the QM . The crew that feature mostly in the funnies are back this week. Becky and Ian on the road ,David on the desk, Paul assisted on the phone by Glams Lauren of York and Lady Harriet Howard.We started at Mundesley. And finished at Foulsham Tracks and Steel Wheels charity ploughing day

With the delectable Becky Betts and Ian struggling through the Norfolk roads, aided in the studio by David with his cub scouts elementary map reading badge.Paul is assisted by Glams AJ and a new Glam Laura Cave . Our start position this week was Diss and we finished at Raveningham hall open gardens. But we failed

 

 

Becky's Back after her fortnights break Miss Betts is on the road with Ian as Navigator.David's in the studio, Paul sets the clues and is ably assisted by Glam Lauren of York on the phones . All is back to normal .
